Course Description: This course focuses on the letters of the apostle Paul.  During this course we will study the life, personality and character of Paul in order to get a better undersanding of his distinctive work.  We will also examine the history and culture of Palestine, Asia and Europe during the first century to place his letters in prper historical context.  We will scrutinize each of his epistles individually in terms of its audience, provenance, intent, theme and theological contributions.  We will also look at them as a body of work to determine how Paul's doctrines developed over time.
